i have been out of the org for several years.

i faded.

my husband became inactive but still believes that the jws have the truth.

Avoid telling him anything, he needs to see the need to look into it himself, people do this at different times and for different reasons there is no magic bullet...

If it's the "Truth" then it should stand up to scrutiny, right? "Make sure of all things" etc etc

i.e you are inviting him to do some research into his beliefs...

Why dont the JWs want their members to research and check out their own religion, oh that's right, because then they would find it's a cult!

Dating

i have been brought up as a jehovah witness and want to date this boy who isn't a jehovah's witness.

we have talked about the trials we could go through and i was wondering because i am a unbaptised publisher could i date him without any consequences?

if you go out in service then that is the only thing they can remove from you, but that would be a blessing as you dont want to be doing that stuff, right?

You may get spoken to in the back room but only if it becomes public knowledge or you are sleeping with him. Your parents if JWs could feel some heat on those issues too.

Using Google Chrome Browser. Search feature does not work?!

when i click on the search bar to enter text, the screen refreshes.. been this way since the software forum upgrade.. is there a setting i need to check in chrome?.

try a different browser or reset chrome in settings and see if it works.

I used to love chrome, but now youtube vids have no sound and i'm loathe to reset it. Opera is starting to look like a better browser.

No. You can edit them for 30 minutes after posting that's all. if you stuff up the admins may delete them for you but that is a last hope.

Hint: Dont give away too much that may identify you unless you dont give a flying fluck about being outed or recognised.

All Seeing Eye on WBTS Video!

i was on the jw.org website today and decided to watch a video entitled 'respect jehovah's authority'.

to my surprise approximately 3mins 25secs into the video, as the opening title began to fade, a symbol of the all seeing eye (eye of horus) appeared on the screen.

the scene was not set in egypt, but in a hebrew tent in the wilderness where praise was being sung to jehovah!!

Cappy he's edited his post and removed the image he highlighted, it was inside the tent.

we get a steady stream of sublim addicts joining and posting their nonsense, he's likely one of those back for more.
